Envorem Tech To Be Presented In Public For 1st Time At Produced Water Event In Saudi Arabia

Produced Water is the term used by the oil and gas industry to define oil & sediment contaminated water that is a byproduct of the extraction of crude oil.

For Envorem, produced water is a waste stream it can use positively to clean other waste streams such as oil contaminated soil and sludge.

Envorem’s groundbreaking green technology is a low-cost solution to clean up many bi-products from oil production. It will be presented for the first time in public at the Middle East Produced Water Oil & Gas Symposium & Exhibition in November.

Envorem MD, Mark Batt-Rawden will represent the company at the Symposium and Exhibition in Saudi Arabia from 21-23 November 2022. Envorem is one of the exhibitors and Mark will also speak at the conference and present our technology on the opening day. The title of Mark’s presentation is “Resolving the production byproduct dilemma with sustainable greentech”

Envorem is one of the exhibitors giving delegates the opportunity to meet the Company and explore its potential in detail.

At Envorem, we use a little known property of water to process production sludges and contaminated soils, cleaning the solids and recovering the entrained oil - all without generating emissions. The technology combines established techniques with hydraulic shock and cavitation, where bubbles are created by the vaporisation of water, a phenomenon found in nature.

Following the success of our pilot project in Oman, and our attendance at the Oman Sustainability Week we are now looking to other areas of the Middle East including Saudi Arabia. The theme of the Saudi event is “The road toward decarbonization and system efficiency in produced water” and we look forward to showing the oil and gas industry what we can do to help.

Our green technology combines more than a decade of research, development and testing. This culminated in a large-scale pilot project in Oman which proved our system treats oil-contaminated sludges and soil quickly and inexpensively. The objective is to start a dialogue with Oil Producers and show that by changing practices they can potentially save money and help the environment.

Mark Batt-Rawden also recently spoke at the New Energy Oman Conference in London where he participated in a panel session focusing on Decarbonising the Oil and Gas Process.

Middle East Produced Water Oil & Gas Symposium & Exhibition

“We are delighted to welcome Envorem as a proud exhibitor of the Middle East Produced Water Oil & Gas Symposium & Exhibition said Rafeeq Kunhi on behalf of the event organisers.

“Join the experts participating to address the challenges and innovation in produced water, supported by Produced Water Society, chaired by Aramco and co-chaired by Petroleum Development Oman.”

According to the ME Produced Water website, “the conference will be the first of its kind to address the challenges, opportunities, innovations, technological advancement, environmental regulations, digitalisation, Ageing Facilities, Water Treatment & Re-Use.

Saudi Arabia is the major player in the global oil and gas community, Produced Water Management is an important subject for the industry and the event in Saudi Arabia will allow professionals regionally and internationally to showcase innovation, and benchmark the best practices and lessons learned.”
