Envorem Labs

Envorem Labs is at the forefront of waste remediation, offering precision testing to determine the efficiency of our high-speed cavitation technology. Clients from around the world send in samples to evaluate our process, demonstrating the remarkable results we achieve in reducing waste volume, recovering valuable oil, and returning clean water.

100% recycling of Sludge?

From our lab in Stoke, UK, we can test various sample types. From oil-contaminated sand to the viscous residual oils in Marine waste, our reference lab process will determine the outputs from cleaning the oil water and solids from the sludge and which modules of our equipment will give you 100% sludge recycling.

Example

KUWAIT soil success

Our results are 4 times better than required! Envorem has been conducting extensive tests on samples of heavily contaminated sands from the Kuwait KERP programme

The current KOC contractual model requires the Hexane Extractable Material, (which KOC term as TPH) must be reduced to less than 1%.

The following soil sample was measured by an independent Kuwaiti based laboratory as 9.4% TPH After the sample went through ENVOREM’s high speed cavitation system they reported a phenomenal 0.24% TPH result which is 4 times better than the under 1% required.

Below pictures show the samples before and after, also under the microscope which shows us even the tiniest sand particles, also described as fines, as little as 15 microns got cleansed to the required benchmark.

Example

Waste Contractor, Saudi Arabia

A leading waste contractor in Saudi Arabia submitted several samples for analysis, seeking a cost-effective and environmentally responsible solution. The results showcase the effectiveness of Envorem's technology in breaking down complex waste compositions.

Initial Sample Characteristics:

  • Sample 1: 17.24kg, viscous fluid, no free oil, brown in color, turned black in air.

  • Sample 2: 18.9kg, similar characteristics with a heavy chemical smell and smoke on retort.

Primary Constituents:

  • Sample 1: Solids 5.6%, Water 75%, Oil 19.4%.

  • Sample 2: Solids 10.5%, Water 66.7%, Oil 22.8%.

Samples before Processing

Results After Processing:

  • Oil layer floated off easily.

  • Obvious polymer content causing viscosity and stringiness removed.

  • Solids and asphaltenes successfully separated.

  • Process water captured residual waxes.

Key Benefits:

  • Waste volume reduced by 90%.

  • Recovered 1.2 barrels of oil per tonne of sludge (20%).

  • Returned 700 litres of water per tonne of sludge.

This case study highlights the commercial and environmental advantages of implementing Envorem’s high-speed cavitation system in real-world waste treatment operations.

After Processing

Results showing clear separation of waters, solids and oils

Example

Field Separator Sludge –GCC Client

A GCC-based client sent a sample of gravity separator sludge to Envorem Labs for evaluation. The sludge was highly contaminated, containing a mix of water, sediment, oil, and ultrafines.

Initial Sample Characteristics:

  • Watery sludge with a gritty texture.

  • Mobile at temperatures above 10°C.

Composition Before Treatment:

  • 44% Water

  • 40% Sediment (>63 microns)

  • 8% Oil

  • 8% Ultrafines

Samples before Processing

Results After Processing:

  • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) reduced to <2,500 ppm (0.25%)

  • Significantly cleaner output, reducing disposal costs and environmental impact

After Processing
