Time for a rebrand!
Welcome to Envorem
This is a very special week for us at Envorem as we launch our new brand identity and website. After a poor start by going down a blind alley with a name, we found an established company specialising in branding climate-positive businesses to transform our business name, brand, and presence.
Why?
The existing name was being used in North America by other companies and we wanted to be sure our name was unique. We also wanted to better reflect our eco-credentials in our brand and name.
We engaged with THAT Branding Company, as specialists working on branding climate-positive businesses, to create something that will stand shoulder to shoulder with some of the industry-leading companies, yet be a unique feel that best represents us and our aims.
One of the key aspects to get right away was the new company name. After a detailed exercise, we generated over 1000 potential names and slowly whittled the list down to just 3.
Our new name is a great fit for us as it summarises exactly why we are here: to clean our environment through remediation. We know it’s not a popular topic - “sludge” has long been the industry’s lesser-known dirty endpoint - a problem without a solution. We hope our new name and brand convey that we can help in a way that is sympathetic to both our clients and the planet.
Our mission is to address the legacy created by the global dependence on oil, displacing current sludge disposal practices and cleaning our fragile environment by remediating the world’s inventory of tailings ponds and sludge lagoons.
